About training pre-requisites
To fully take advantage of this training, it is recommended to have completed CIAM Level 1 and Level 2 courses, as well as having some ability with Vascular Autonomic Signal (VAS) palpation. The completion of Clinical Practicum 1 and 2 is not required, unless you intend to complete Level 3 to earn your CIAM Level 3 Certification.
Recommended pre-requisites aside, CIAM recognizes that some learners may benefit from seeing the possibilities of Auricular Medicine prior to acquiring the practical clinical skills for treatment. Such motivations of interest to attend an advanced course often help these types of learners be more engaged and go back and learn/practice the necessary clinical skills online — which is then easy to do via www.integrateauricular.ca
Whatever the motivation, the main thing is to set expectations in attending Level 3:

Whatever the motivation, the main thing is to set expectations in attending Level 3:
- With prior completion of Level 1 and 2, and an ability to palpate the VAS, attendees of Level 3 are able to actively participate in the hands-on, guided practice of advanced methods.
- Without prior Level 1, Level 2, or VAS knowledge/practice, attendees are able to learn about advanced treatment possibilities available in Auricular Medicine, and watch treatment demonstrations.
